You could be using the wrong keywords

If the keywords you’re targeting in your campaigns are highly competitive, that may be the problem.  It is hard to get traffic when you’re competing against millions of others.

Try doing a little keyword research and finding long-tail keywords that target your audience.  If you can find 5 or 10 of these and start writing your content around them, you will likely see an increase in traffic.

Have a little more patience

Unfortunately, many people are led to believe that you can get hordes of traffic and start making a fortune overnight.  This just isn’t true.

If you’re doing things like implementing good SEO practices on your website, writing articles, and blogging, you will see results in time.  Seeing the benefits of SEO takes time, but you will see that in the end your efforts pay off.

Keep adding to your strategic plan

You may be doing all of the right things, but getting traffic to your website still doesn’t seem to be happening.

You write articles, blog, submit press releases, add content to your pages, and everything else you know to do.  Don’t stop there!  Offer to guest post on a relevant blog; offer a free article to another website owner.  Comment on blogs as often as possible. Just keep going!  It’s tough, but if you quit too soon you’ll never know what might have been.
