If you don’t have any money to spend, there are plenty of free methods you can use to drive targeted traffic.  Most new marketers don’t have a lot of money to invest in traffic, so until you do try some of the following:

Blog posts
Blog commenting
Forum marketing
Social media
Free press releases

You don’t have to go too far into the depths of search engine optimization to help your website attract traffic.  Optimize your pages for your chosen keywords.  Create good page titles and meta tags.  Build incoming links.  These little things can help you attract those looking for your offer in the long term, and you will be glad you took the time to optimize your website.

Getting traffic to your website through paid methods

Once you are having some success and making a little money, you may want to invest in some paid advertising to attract targeted traffic.  Google ads work well if your ad is well written and targets the right keywords.  Consider placing an ad on a site in your niche (or one closely related) that ranks highly in the search engines.  Advertise in e-zines (online magazines.)

The only thing limiting your ability to get traffic to your website is your own imagination.  Think of creative ways to attract interested visitors!  While it may seem slow now, the more you do the better the results will be in the coming weeks, months, and years.
